• This hotel was one of the more interesting accommodations options I could find in town, a beautiful garden hotel with ample grounds and excellent food. From the street it looks like any well-to-do residential home, and, indeed, staying there feels like a weekend sojourn with your Argentine cousins. The rooms are a little old-fashioned with low beds and heavy curtains, but it's the rambling garden that makes the place. A marble fountain trickles in the shady corners. A red-tiled patio overlooks a medium-size pool with tall palm trees acting as sentries over the hot tub. The Italian owners are talented chefs, which comes through in the incredible menu that can be enjoyed in intimate corners of the garden. Boutique Hotel de la Fonte is located on a quiet, residential street just a 5-minute walk from the downtown area.
