Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park

  • User Review:

    • The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park (also called St. Paul Underground River National Park or St. Paul Underground River) is a short hike from Sabang Town where it is located. It is roughly 50km north of the capital city of Puerto Pricesa. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has been voted among the 28 finalists in the New 7 Wonders of Nature competition. The park has a limestone karst mountain landscape with an 8.2 kilometer navigable underground river. The river winds through a cave filled with stalactites and stalagmites before flowing directly into the South China Sea.
