Description:
This hotel was recently spiffed up, but accommodations remain basic. Still, this Spanish colonial mansion from around 1911 has cathedral ceilings, and some rooms have double doors opening up onto balconies. You might find this cost-conscious spot wonderful or horrible, depending on your point of view and room assignment. The most appealing accommodations are nos. 8, 9, and 10; these rooms are spacious and have balconies that hang over Calle Villa, a few steps from Plaza Las Delicias. Each unit has a small, tiled, shower-only bathroom. No restaurants are here, but this is downtown, right off the plaza, with many restaurants nearby.
