This is one of the newest hotels in eastern Puerto Rico, filling a vast gap in accommodations in this remote part of the island. The López family is your host, and their complex combines colonial styling with tropical decoration. Each midsize bedroom is well furnished and has a pool-view balcony and an efficiently organized, tiled, shower-only bathroom. The López family, under its Tropical Inns Puerto Rico company, also runs two nearby small hotels we also recommend, Parador Costa del Mar in Yabucoa and MaunaCaribe in nearby Maunabo. All are clean, well managed, and surprisingly affordable for what you get.
