- Culebra beaches are amongst the most beautiful in the Caribbean. Flamenco beach is the most popular due to its turquoise waters, white sand and perfect symmetry. At Flamenco, you can even find an old Army tank on the beach, a representation of the Navy's 32-year presence on the island. Other beaches can be found across the Culebra, but it is a bit harder to find them. Rent a car or motorcycle and dare to venture around. On the northeast coast there is a less known beach called Zoni Beach with pristine flair and a spectacular view of Cayo Norte, a tiny private island located half a mile away. If you have the opportunity to rent a boat, try to get to Culebrita or Dakiti, where local sailors flock to enjoy great snorkeling and impressive sights.
