Playa Balneario Luquillo

• Luquillo Beach is perhaps the most famous beach vista in Puerto Rico. White sands, palm trees, and still blue waters contour a perfect crescent-shaped shoreline. The public beach has restroom and shower facilities, parking, and concession stands, but visitors can drive on and find their own secluded patch of paradise. At the outset of the public entrance stand Luquillo's famous kioskos. This is the perfect place to load up on frituras and cold medalla beer before heading to the beach. Luquillo is about 10 minutes from the El Yunque turnoff, and makes an excellent pit stop after a long day of hiking.
