  • Puerto Vallarta offers myriad things for travelers of all stripes to enjoy. If you've selected Puerto Vallarta as your destination, it's a good bet that you enjoy the beach. In addition to sunbathing and beach-combing, there's many beach-related activities to partake in. You can jump into a pick-up volleyball game, rent a jet ski or kayak, get certified for open water diving, snorkel with tropical fishes or, if the season is right, get up close and personal with the Humpback Whales. Off the beach, there are dozens of wonderful shops for bargain hunters to stroll through and the local art walk, where you can discover local artists from Mexico and around the world. There are many tours that you can take from Puerto Vallarta too. Travel back through time to mountain town of San Sebastian or grab a water taxi for a horseback to the Yelapa waterfall. Of course, if you aren't feeling that adventurous, choose from one of Puerto Vallarta's amazing spas for a day of pampering or grab some books from the used bookstore and pull up a hammock under a palapa. Whatever you want to do, Puerto Vallarta has a place to do it.
