I have done the usual tourist trips (Canopy tour, ATV, Yelapa,snorkeling...)on past visits. Can you suggest off the beaten path activities?

There is an older, white haired German man who has lived in PV for years. He walks on the beach and talks to tourists about taking a boat trip with him. He goes to all the beaches the big tour boats go, but with him, there will be 8 people max. He rents a panga from Mismaloya and will take you to Las Animas, Quimixto etc.

I booked with him a few years ago, and it was amazing. We walked barefoot through a jungle, up to a gorgeous waterfall, he climbed a coconut tree barefoot to bring down some for us. He was great, the day was awesome, and if you ever see him around, I highly encourage you to go with him!
