Best reputable to purchase/collect Huichol Beadwork. Can a person buy direct to best benefit Huichol Artesian. Travel safe to Tepic from PV?

In Puerto Vallarta you can find 4 or 5 stores located by the boardwalk (Malecon)and in most of them you will find inside Huichol artesian working!

Arte Magico Huichol is probably the best place in Puerto Vallarta to buy Huichol art. They work with a cooperative and pay the artisans fair wages. They also know a lot about the specific artists of each piece. It's in El Centro at 179 Corona. You can also pick up Huichol art at local fairs and open air markets. The tiangues (flea market) in La Penita is every Thursday morning and worth the drive if you have a rental car. They have a lot of arts and crafts there.
