This cool Italian owned bar and dance club is often the only place with a crowd after dark in Puerto Viejo. A nondescript building off of the main road by day, Baba Yaga turns into a vibrating, bumping club after about 11pm most nights. Every Sunday is reggae night at Baba Yaga, where you can sway your way right into Monday morning. Tuesday is Ladies Night, with free daiquiris for the fairer sex from 10 til 11:30pm and rotating DJs, and Thursday night is Rising Sound night, with free mojitos for ladies starting at 10pm, and DJs spinning reggae and dancehall all night. See and be seen scene with plenty of locals decked out in new board shorts and flip flops.
