  Le Caméléon is a new boutique hotel just south of town, in Cocles Beach. 23 rooms are spread among the natural Caribbean jungle setting across the road from the exclusive, if not private, beach club. Bamboo, glass, and wood buildings, a foliage-lined pool, and a well-appointed bar on one side of the road. Behind a low wooden fence and with a foot bridge through the entryway, round day beds and shady white hammocks are spaced out along the shore, service from the hotel cafe is available, but not mandatory. Rates start at $200 a night, including breakfast.
