Description:

Tours of the Jaguar Rescue Center are offered every day except Sunday, at 9:30am and 11:30am, and last about an hour and a half. Small groups of visitors have the opportunity to interact directly with the uncaged animal kingdom being treated: monkeys, wild cats, sloths, racoons, anteaters, marsupials and snakes play together with humans in a protected and rehabilitative environment until they are ready to be released without supervision to their natural habitat, inlcuding the Jaguar Center's own protected 50 hectares of primary forest nearby. From their website: "The Jaguar Rescue in Puerto Viejo is a non profit, non government supported charity that relies on the generous donations of its visitors" Suggested Donation is $14.
