Jaguar Rescue Center in Puerto Viejo

• Tours of the Jaguar Rescue Center are offered every day except Sunday, at 9:30am and 11:30am, and last about an hour and a half. Small groups of visitors have the opportunity to interact directly with the uncaged animal kingdom being treated: monkeys, wild cats, sloths, racoons, anteaters, marsupials and snakes play together with humans in a protected and rehabilitative environment until they are ready to be released without supervision to their natural habitat, inlcuding the Jaguar Center's own protected 50 hectares of primary forest nearby.
