Top 10:

Music in Quebec City

  • The Best of NileGuide
  • Apart from theatrical productions, which are almost always in French, knowledge of the language is rarely necessary to enjoy the music scene and entertainment in Quebec City. In the heart of the spectacular Charlevoix region, overlooking the wide bay of Saint-Irenee, Domaine Forget is a haven for music and nature lovers. Chez Dagobert is one of the most popular nightclubs in the city and there is always a great party going on in this three-storey mansion located on the Grande Allee. Le Cercle is a tapas and wine bar adjacent to its sister restaurant Utopie and co-owned by Utopie's chef. Le Cercle features food until 1 a.m. and three or four nights each week there's live music in the space, which holds upwards of 300 people. For classical fans, the Quebec Symphony Orchestra is a top-notch orchestra that delivers a full program of concerts and events from September through May. If it's winter, come in out of the cold. If it's summer, find an outdoor concert somewhere. Whatever the season, there is always music to enjoy in Quebec City.
