At the epicenter of the renovated portion of St-Roch, an area that's slowly getting a youthful pop amid otherwise dreary office buildings and low-key retail, Yuzu focuses on sushi and Japanese preparations. But authenticity isn't paramount, not with foie gras on the card (yes, it's as expensive as you'd expect). Individual sushi rolls run from C$4 to C$15 (£2-£7.50) each, but you can opt for tasting menus of C$65 (£33) for five courses and C$85 (£43) for seven.

My boyfriend and I loved it here! we went two nights during our 5 night stay in quebec :) the sushi was very tasty and definitely unique. our service was impeccable on both occasions....
