  The well-maintained turfgrass is bentgrass and poa annua for the greens, bluegrass for the fairways and fescue in the rough. Lack of length keeps Presidents' slope rating low, but greens that stimp out at 8 to 10 will expose any putting weakness. The rough is not grown high, but the course's fairways are contoured to curl in and steer a so-so shot off the fairway. The wind off the Southeast Expressway makes an already tight course tighter.
