- World famous for bringing world-class bullfighting to the people of Quito, this bullring was built in 1960 and since then been the must-visit venue for bulfighting. With a capacity for 15000 spectators, a visit to the Plaza de Toros will be a memory to treasure. Bullfighting season is at its peak during the spring and summer months. Seats in tha shade are always a bit higher than seats in the sun, popular tournaments do sell out and shoudl be booked in advance. Aside from bullfighting, the venue also hosts a variety of concerts throughout the year.
