Description:

While it may seem unlikely that town of Ravello, located high on a promontory in the mountains, would have a beach, it does actually have one very beautiful beach. The Castiglione Beach is named after the area of Ravello between the seaside towns of Atrani and Minori. It is located just around the corner from Atrani and offers marvelous views of the town's Church of Santa Maria Maddalena. The beach has the same soft black sand that you'll find at the beach in Atrani, and offers a summer Lido where you can rent sun beds, umbrellas and enjoy a beachside lunch.
