The hippest nightlife in Reno is found in the downtown casinos as well as a few local bars and clubs in the immediate downtown area.
The hippest crowds hang out at Roxy's at the Eldorado for its excellent martinis or at the Brew Brothers for their draft beer and live entertainment. Other popular clubs include the Aura Ultra Lounge at the Silver Legacy and the Sapphire Lounge at Harrah's.
For some live music, head to the Knitting Factory or the Underground. If you just want to chill, go to St. James Infirmary or the Chapel, both near downtown Reno. If you are more of a pub person, the Irish bar, Ceol will receive you with open arms. The Imperial is also popular with the locals. If the weather is warm, head over to the Grand Sierra Resort and the pool and tropical bar of Nikki Beach.
