Boutique - Reno Hotels

  • In the shadows of the downtown casinos in Reno, there do happen to be several, little boutique hotels. You can also stay at a few smaller hotels and inns in the surrounding areas of Virginia City, Genoa and Washoe Valley. If you want to stay in downtown Reno, stay at the Plumas House Bed and Breakfast. This place was built in 1911 and is located near the Truckee River. If you want something a little funkier, you can stay at the artsy Wildflower Village, which is just west of downtown. If you want to get out of the city. Try the historic Chollar Mansion Bed and Breakfast in Virginia City or the (supposedly haunted) Gold Hill Hotel in Gold Hill. You can also stay at the Crooked House Bed and Breakfast, built in the late 1800s. Just down the mountain from Virginia City is the beautiful Bliss Mansion in Carson City or the Wild Rose Inn and the Genoa House Inn in beautiful Genoa.

    For some beautiful views of the Tahoe Range, stay at the small Deer Run Ranch Bed and Breakfast in east Washoe Valley and wake up every morning to friendly deer and other desert animals.
