  • The Reno music scene is becoming popular with local and regional bands as a great venue and with visitors as a fun place to listen to great live bands, classical music and jazz.

One of the newest and most popular music clubs is the Knitting Factory right in downtown Reno. Music groups such as Rob Zombie and the Young Dubliners put on lively shows. If you are a fan of classic rock and blues take a trip up the mountain to the Red Dog Saloon in Virginia City. This restaurant and bar packs it in during their live shows. Local casinos bring in excellent, high-caliber acts all year long. So visit the Grand Sierra Resort, the Eldorado, Sammy's Showroom at Harrah's or the Silver Legacy for live music acts.

If you want to do some dancing, do some late night club hopping to Bliss Nightclub at Harrah's or Nikki Beach at the Grand Sierra Resort. For some fun dueling pianos and live bands, go to Brew Brothers at the Eldorado. For lovers of classic music, attend at concert with the Reno Philharmonic or the Reno Chamber Orchestra at their various locations around town.
