1. Lulou's Restaurant
- The fine dining in this restaurant is undone by any other place in Reno. The serving staff is professional, knowledgeable about food and wine and friendly at the same time. Main courses, salads and soups are delicious and the desserts deserved to be written about. Expect to pay at least $100 per person and if you drink their wine make sure you're ready for a major price markup with a $30 corkage fee.

The city of quickie weddings might have started out with a proposal at a romantic restaurant in Reno. There are several intimate and romantic dining spots in the Biggest Little City.
Some are inside casinos such as the award-winning La Strada or Roxy's at the Eldorado. There is also the beautiful Sterling's at the Silver Legacy, Charlie Palmer's Steak House or Fin Fish at the Grand Sierra Resort and Andreotti at Harrah's. For a few local romantic spots, try the elegant Beaujolais Bistro near the West Street Market. The authentic French food here is served with excellent wines and great service. If you want locally grown food, try the 4th Street Bistro and its flavorful dishes and wine.
Outside of the downtown area, there are other romantic restaurants such as Brick's Restaurant or the very elegant LuLou's Restaurant. Both of these restaurants are located in the Midtowne area of Reno and are easy to get to by staying on the main central Virginia Street.
If you are looking to get out of the city and into the country, take a trip to Genoa and visit La Ferme. This French restaurant serves locally raised meat and organic vegetables from the Carson Valley, or for some fresh fish and wonderful views of the foothills, go eat at Atabi at the Thunder Canyon golf course in Washoe Valley, which is about 20 miles south of downtown Reno.
