1. Junkee Clothing Exchange, Inc.
- One of the best shopping experiences in Reno. Junkee is not only a used clothing store, but a Burner boutique for Burning Man participants, an antique shop, an art gallery and just an overall cool and funky place to drop a few bucks. Most items are reasonable and the owner, Jessica, keeps the place hopping and also hosts the local Reno Style TV show.

In the last few years, some interesting shops and stores have opened up in the Reno area. These include artisan shops, natural and ethnic food stores, local craft shops and second-hand stores. Reno also has its fair share of indoor and outdoor malls.
For a day of fun second-hand and antique shopping, visit Junkee Clothing Exchange in the Mid Town area of Reno. Here you will find a fun and funky vibe and great prices. Just around the corner is the local craft shop of Pickled Tink. This small, charming place sells handcrafted clothes, jewelry and household items. For other refurbished furniture items, visit Red Chair in the southwest part of town.
If you like military inspired shopping, visit Twin City Surplus on 4th Street and pick up some camo netting or a helmet for a pretty good price. While you are in the area, you can stop by King Ranch Market in the Latin area of town for some great produce and Mexican cakes.
For some high end shopping, visit the Summit on the Mt. Rose Highway or the Legends at Sparks Marina. You can also head to Meadowood Mall in central Reno.
If you want to get out of town, do some shopping for some local honey, jams or pickles at the Nevada Lynn Emporium in Washoe Valley or the Gifted Cowboy in Virginia City.
