Playland at Idlewild Park

• You will find this beautiful green oasis by the Truckee River, just a short distance from downtown Reno. It's a wonderful place to relax and spend the day with the family. The kids can choose from a multitude of rides available to them. They will find the normal fun playground equipment such as swings and slides and other neat stuff. There is a train that circles the park and lake, a merry-go-round, a small roller coaster, tilt-o-whirl, bumper cars and an octopus ride to twist you up. The trees are plentiful and the views spectacular. Picnic tables are available, so be sure to bring a picnic. Admission to the park is free. There is a 50-cent charge for the rides.
