• Let the friendly and helpful staff assist you in making your lodging and sightseeing decisions. They will be happy to explain all of the current events going on locally. They can inform you about all the best sightseeing spots to visit. There is a never-ending supply of maps, lodging and dining guides, and sightseeing pamphlets for Reno/Sparks and the surrounding areas. One can also find souvenir T-shirts and coffee mugs. After you decide how to spend your time while in the area, be sure to go outside to the railroad cars that are a part of the Visitors Center. They are great fun to look at and maybe even have your picture taken while sitting in the engineer's seat.
