Description:
This unpretentious restaurant in the Hotel Centrum doesn't seem to consider itself upmarket, yet the food quality matches almost anything in Iceland's highest price range. It's also the only restaurant in Iceland with a Wine Spectator award of excellence (for 2 years running), yet wine prices are marked up much less than elsewhere. Asian touches are superbly integrated with European preparations, and the Thai marinated catfish (served in a sort of upside-down glass sombrero) is one of many sure winners.
