Description:
Students on a budget have long relied on this authentic hole-in-the-wall run by a Thai family in the old harbor neighborhood. Service is fast and perfunctory, and the food is hearty, flavorful, and richly seasoned if not exactly delicate. You might expect the spiciness to be toned down for Nordic taste buds, but they do it their way unless you specify otherwise. The pad Thai is particularly spicy and delicious -- though overloaded with chunky peanuts. You can ask for a free rice refill. Lunches are even cheaper.
