- Much free space and an opportunity to take a breeth of fresh air around the mouth of the Daugava river. Summer is the best season for traveling to Bolderaja as one can have a swim and sun bath in the sands there. There are a few uninhabited small islands and a peninsula.Big sea vessels are can be observed in the Riga Gulf from there the same as smaller fishing boats and yachts. Sites of former Russian military bases may be of interest for a large part of tourists.
