- Light festival - taking place around Latvia's independence day - 18th of November. 2010 had 75 light objects, performances, videoprojections ect all around city. Every year different objects and different artists. This tradition started in 2008 and starting from 2010 international light artists are taking part in the festival. More information at www.staro.lv. And everyone can take part next year :).
