From Thursday through Sunday nights, his informal drinks stand is the place to come for relaxed alfresco drinks in one of Santa Teresa's most picturesque spots. On balmy evenings, the square in front of the drinks stand is transformed into a gathering point for locals of all ages, with the children playing football in the center of the square, while adults sip on Jorginho's deceptively innocent drinks. Try the batidas - deliciously creamy concoctions made from sugar cane rum, condensed milk and your choice of either passion fruit, peanut, coconut or 'bonbon' (chocolate and coconut).
