The Best of NileGuide

It may be a rugged, nature-filled expanse of rainforest, but hungry adventurers will find plenty of restaurants near Tijuca Park, Rio de Janeiro.
Parque Nacional da Tijuca stretches across the center of the city, and depending where you enter the park, the closest clusters of good restaurants are to be found in the neighborhoods of Jardim Botanico or Santa Teresa.
Some of the best Rio de Janeiro restaurants are to be found in these leafy neighborhoods, including the acclaimed Olympe, in Jardim Botanico, and the more affordable 66 Bistro in the same neighborhood.
Santa Teresa also offers plenty of restaurants close to Tijuca National Park. Visitors entering or exiting Tijuca National Park near Santa Teresa may be lucky enough to find Lagoinha open to the public - this spot, with swimming pools and tennis courts, has spectacular views. It is often hired for private events, but is well worth a lunch stop should you be lucky.
For a quick pitstop, Padaria Cereal serves tasty and wholesome cakes, pastries and breads, while further along the same stretch of road, Aprazivel has fine French-Brazilian cuisine and stunning views over downtown Rio and the bay.
The residential neighborhoods of Botafogo and Laranjeiras are both close to the park, and have some good restaurants close to Tijuca National Park.
