    Don't confuse this place with the Copacabana Praia HOSTEL, which offers basic dorm accommodation. Good location between Ipanema and Copacabana, handy for Ipanema beach without the steep Ipanema price tag.

    • This recently remodeled hotel offers modest, economical accommodation. In spite of its name, it is not on the beach, but rather one block away. Rooms are equipped with fridge, telephone, air-conditioning, cable TV and safe. The 54 rooms are spread over 11 floors. The rooms do not have a balcony, but from the top floor there is a partial view of the Copacabana beach. The restaurant is on the mezzanine, where breakfast is also served. For the comfort of the guests, there is a swimming pool, sauna and sunbathing deck on the top floor.
