- A favorite with Brazilian celebrities such as Gisele Bundchen, Marina All Suites is a wonderfully chic option in front of Ipanema beach. As the name suggests, all the rooms are suites with kitchenettes, and some also have living rooms with stereos, DVD players etc. All those on the upper floors have been signed by different designers, and are beautifully appointed. There are some wonderfully kooky touches, such as the private cinema – book it in advance, and ask staff at reception to call in any film you might want to watch (provided its available at nearby rental stores!). There is also a shared lounge where those in the designer suites can receive guests and even prepare drinks at the bar.
