• Antiquarius is elegant, without being overly formal. A favorite among Leblon's well-heeled locals, the restaurant is filled with authentic antique furnishings and calls to mind a traditional Portuguese restaurant - albeit an upper class one! Antiquarius enjoys a privileged location in one of Rio's most exclusive neighborhoods, but the ambience is relaxed and the service friendly. Some of the house hits are codfish à lagareira—cod baked in olive oil with onions and garlic, broccoli and black olives—and Catapana (seafood with rice). The desserts, which make much use of eggs and sugar, are typical of those found across Portugal.
