For a churrascaria meal without breaking the bank, try Carretão. The system is similar to many rodízio restaurants: Meats are delivered to your table by a constant parade of waiters carrying a variety of cuts, and you can help yourself to a large buffet with a selection of 20 salads, various types of sushi, and even some grilled fish such as salmon or trout. In addition to beef, Carretão also serves up a variety of pork, sausage, chicken, and turkey cuts. Children under 5 eat free, those ages 5 to 9 pay only half price. Just keep them away from the fancy fruit smoothies and desserts that the waiters eagerly push on you; these jack up the bill pretty quickly.

Tasty food, good value

Meat lovers come closer, vegetarians go elsewhere. The buffet was average at best, but the meats and the fried plaintains were delicious. The price was good compared to similar restaurants.
