• Cuisines: Spanish
  • NileGuide Expert tip:

Botafogo is home to some of the most interesting bars and clubs in Rio, so it's well worth making a night of it and checking out some nightlife after your meal.

  • Description:

    • A spectacular view over Guanabara Bay makes a dramatic backdrop to some delicious seafood at this formal restaurant in Botafogo.
The food is European - mainly Spanish - with a few Brazilian touches, such as the moqueca (seafood stew) and the bolinhos de bacalhau (codfish balls).
Cod dishes here are dependably good, as are the shrimo dishes, while the Paella for two or four people is a real seafood feast.
