- His name is Jorge Selaron, he is a super incredible chilean artist which came to Rio in 1983, with the authorization of Rio's City Hall he gave life back to an old stairway located in Lapa, very bohemian and old neighborhood of Rio. This stairs used to belong to a Conventwhich is still there, a very old Conventry of Santa Tereza. He made a enormous mosaic of tyles coming from every different part of the world!!! You will probably see a tyle coming from your own country, I found tyles coming from Maranhão! The artist also created his own paintings in the tyles!!! The place is also a great spot for you to sit and drink!
