• Largo do Guimaraes lies at the heart of laid-back, bohemian Santa Teresa and is a focal point for many activities in this scenic neighborhood. Surrounded by bars, cafés and coffee shops, the square regularly sees live music events, with musicians playing aboard one of Santa Teresa s famous bonde (tram) cars. There s a flea market held on the first Saturday of every month, and each Sunday beer sellers line the squares as the neighborhood s revelers gather to listen to samba at nearby bars and make the most of the last day of the weekend.
