- This a very big zoo and it is right in Rio, just 20 min from Copacabana and 10 min from the center of town..several animals can be seen there like tigers, lions, all sorts of monkeys, birds, aligators,elephant,giraff and so on....not to miss the opportuinity one should also visit the Imperial Musuem that is located in the same area as the Zoo, all within walking distance.
