- It is hard to tell where the best sunset in Rio is, every corner of the city provides us such a magical sunset, but no doubt, from the rocks of Arpoador you can see the perfect golden shapes of our mountains. Ipanema has one of the best sunsets in Rio de Janeiro. At the end of the day, all the people go to the rocks of Arpoador to see the sun going down, and when it finally "touches" the water, people applause!
