It depends, cause you can go by bus or subway.
By subway, the station is called São Cristovão and takes around 35-40 minutes.
By bus, depends on the traffic and the way to the zoo is very busy at rush time. So minimum 25 minutes up to a hour.

if you get the rush hours in Rio youwill take more time so a good otpion is to go early in the morning , all the traffic from copacabana is going to downtown which is near São Cristóvão . ( www.tourguideinbrazil.com )
