- Just around the corner from the famous Piazza Trilussa is an uber-popular bar where the boho-chic, tourists, and Trasteverini hang out. Freni e Frizioni is a old mechanic shop (hence the name - shocks and brakes) turned hipster bar in Trastevere. The bar has a relaxed vibe and a cool atmosphere to it. Inside, you'll find reggae, soul and funk music playing in the background while friends hover the free buffet table to grab some grub during aperitivo time. Can't find a seat inside? No problem! Another big reason that makes this place so popular is the lovely piazzetta where this bar is located. When things get too crowded inside (and it does almost every night), the party spills out into the piazza where people sip on their fantastic mojitos while perched up on the wall.
