Description:
On a hot summer night, between May and September, many chic Romans escape the city heat and head for the resort of Fregene, 38.5km (24 miles) west of Rome and reached by Fregene bus no. 1 from the Lepanto Metro stop. The dance club here rocks nightly from 11pm to 4am, and the restaurant serves dinner from 8:30pm. There are four dance floors as well as a pool and private beach. To join the ultra-cool patrons, wear your most elegant swimwear. Gilda is the place on the summer see-and-be-seen circuit.
