Al Forno della Soffitta

Description:

  • Lovers of true Pizza napoletana, raised with a chewy crust, will line up to try Stefano's pizza, the 1995 European pizza champion and now the fiduciary of the Italian Pizza Commitee. The pizzas, served on wooden chopping boards, are original, varied and incredibly good, e.g. pizza D'Annunzio (with Provola cheese, onion and chili pepper). The fried mixed fish dishes and focaccias are also very nice. Desserts from Partenope. They have another location in Via Piave, 62.

    Wood fire pizza

  • Good pizza coked in a wood fire oven. Not the best pizza I ate on Roma but very good one with a thin crusty pasta and fresh ingredients.
