Description:
You might want to escape the roar of traffic along Via del Corso by ducking into this informal spot on a crooked side street (about midway between Piazza Venezia and Piazza Colonna). It's a cozy neighborhood setting with rich and savory flavor in every dish. The risotto with scampi and the fettuccine with porcini mushrooms will have you begging for more. Some dishes are classic, such as roast lamb with potatoes, but others are more inventive, such as sliced stew beef with arugula. We're fond of the house specialty, spaghetti alla bottarga with roe sauce, especially if it's followed by spigola alla vernaccia (sea bass sautéed in butter and vernaccia wine). For dessert, try the typical Sardinian seadas, thin-rolled pastry filled with fresh cheese, fried, and served with honey.

Nothing special, but calm.

Food just average to relatively high price. Pizzas were not frozen but ordinary, just above the level you want to complain. No Amex.

Quick service

Very quiet and polite service which was a change. Ravioli was very delicate and my son had a great fillet of beef cooked perfectly.
