- Cuisines: Mexican
NileGuide Expert tip:
Make sure to order a frozen margarita when you're here. They're the absolute best in town!
Description:
- Is all that pizza and pasta wearing you down? If you've had enough and are craving Mexican, there's a sweet little restaurant called La Cucaracha just a stone's throw from the Vatican Museums. The restaurant is one of the few truly authentic restaurants actually run by Mexicans and not Italians. The owners are two sisters from Acapulco, Mexico who put their heart and soul in their cooking. The interior is cheerfully decorated in typical Mexican style with sombreros and Mexican artwork adorned on the walls and colorful piƱatas hanging from the ceilings. Some of their signature dishes are: queso fundido con chorizo, tacos Cucaracha and enchiladas verdes.
