Description:
This is a real neighborhood spot in a lively location. (You might have to wait for a table even if you have a reservation.) In summer, tables are placed on the charming piazza, and you can look across at the church's floodlit golden frescoes. The dining room sports beamed ceilings, stenciled walls, lots of paneling, and framed oil paintings. The spaghetti with seafood is excellent, and the fresh fish and shellfish are also very tempting. For a savory treat, try pollo con peperoni, chicken with red and green peppers. Wash it all down with the delightful white Frascati wine or the house chianti. (Order carefully; your bill can skyrocket if you choose grilled fish or the Florentine steaks.)
