Description:
- A villa on one of Rome's seven hills, the Celio, exhibits a series of finds discovered on the property during the 19th c. The most precious were taken into national collections but others were exhibited in the villa. They finds are objects of everyday life - for example, a doll with a contemporary hairstyle and moveable arms and legs that was found in the tomb of a young Roman girl from the 2nd c. AD.
