Description:
- This plaza houses an area that was once home to the eight main aqueducts of ancient Rome. The citizens have always called the gateway here Porta Maggiore (larger door/gate) for its dimensions. Labicana and Prenestina streets once passed through the two archways. At the right angle, once can spot the holes made especially for the water pipes that were structurally included in the monument.
