The apartment is very wel suited for a longer stay. The boat is harboured in the Watertorenhaven (Watertowerharbour) opposite the distinct Watertower in a placid and quiet residential area. The city centre with its Old Harbour, shops, entertainment and business area is about 10 minutes by car of (very fast) taxi boat. Within walking distance (5 minutes) you find Erasmus University, De Esch nature Trail, a restaurant situated in the Watertower, sport fields, Rivium Business Park and idyllic walks (or runs) along the Nieuwe Maas.
