Since California's capital city was founded 150 years ago, the streets of Old Sacramento (today a living and working historical district designated a State of California monument) has witnessed many a crime, both solved and unsolved. Mystery authors such as Rex Stout, John D. MacDonald, Dame Agatha Christie and hundreds of other writers famous and not-so-famous are well represented here. Out-of-print searches are available; books by local authors are sold on consignment.
